Principles of Operation The system may be mounted to existing overhead steel beams or to newly constructed steel where overhead anchorage points are not available. Horizontal travel through intermediate supports can be achieved without disconnecting the worker’s personal fall arrest system via the Beamgrip bypass. Stanchion systems may be installed on the top or bottom flanges of an I-beam.
